Meet Judge Murray

Ronnie V. Murray II, an experienced trial attorney, graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, and committed public servant, was appointed by Governor Evers to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court on July 20, 2023.

Before joining the court, Murray worked as an Associate Federal Defender in Milwaukee for eight and a half years, where he represented clients in the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Previously, he served as an assistant state public defender in Green Bay, representing indigent clients in criminal, juvenile, and civil commitment proceedings. 

Murray lives in Greenfield with his wife, Ashley, and his two daughters, Olivia and Zoey.
